Safe Church matters

Safe Church in The Episcopal Church in Connecticut is a pastoral care and human justice program alongside equivalent programs across the Episcopal Church. Beginning in 2019, in accordance with resolutions passed by the General Convention of the Episcopal Church in 2018, the program has been redesigned, to better reach out, in order to create or restore right relationships in the face of abuse, neglect and exploitation in many situations, with special emphases on young people (under age 18), vulnerable adults (age 60 or older), and adults with intellectual disabilities (18-59 years of age).

Dr. Barbara Campbell currently oversees the implementation of the program for St. Mark's.
